Elle Fanning (Super 8), Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies), Kodi Smit-McPhee (ParaNorman) and Michael Shannon (Man of Steel) have boarded writer/director Jake Paltrow's Young Ones, Variety reports.
The film is described as being a sci-fi thriller set in a future where water has become scarce and a violent world treats it as the single most precious resource.
Paltrow, who previously directed The Good Night, is now shooting in the deserts of South Africa. Tristan Orpen Lynch and Michael Auret are attached to produce with James Atherton, Marina Fuentes, Peter Garde, Brian O'Shea and Jan Pace executive producing.
