New Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Teaser Promises Dinos on the Loose

It’s a mere two months until the release of the upcoming second installment in the Jurassic World franchise, and in case the previous two trailers weren’t enough to spark excitement in audiences for its release, Universal has released a new teaser promising a full trailer to follow on Wednesday.

In the 30-second teaser, viewers watch as the dinosaurs are breaking loose and causing havoc on more than just the island, with a velociraptor invading the room of a child and what appears to be the mosasaurus moving in on a group of surfers in the ocean. We also watch as Chris Pratt attempts to wrangle a T-Rex into a cage and Bryce Dallas Howard hunting down a raptor on the roof of a mansion.

Stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return alongside executive producers Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow for Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Pratt and Howard are joined by co-stars James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, while BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles.

Falling Kingdom follows Pratt and Howard’s characters as they return to Isla Nublar to try and rescue the dinosaurs roaming the island from an impending volcanic eruption, including Blue, the last of the raptors he trained. While there, they learn of a conspiracy that could assist the dinosaurs in ruling the Earth once again.

Directed by J.A. Bayona (The Impossible), the epic action-adventure is written by Jurassic World’s director, Trevorrow, and its co-writer, Derek Connolly. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again partner with Spielberg and Trevorrow in leading the team of filmmakers for this stunning installment. Belén Atienza joins the team as a producer.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will open in theaters on June 22, 2018.
