Sit down with the Baby Driver cast, including stars Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jamie Foxx, Eiza Gonzales and Jon Hamm
It’s not necessarily easy to put into words exactly what makes Baby Driver such a unique big screen treat. After all, the darkly comic romantic crime thriller moves to a beat all it’s own, set against a rhythm that permeates every frame. No one’s singing, but Baby Driver is very much a musical and CS recently sat down with stars Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jamie Foxx, Eiza Gonzalez and Jon Hamm to talk about what went into making Edgar Wright‘s delirious actioner a reality. Elgort also explains why, despite some visual similarities, his black and white costume is not meant to be a Han Solo reference, while James teases the fun of catching new layers to Baby Driver with multiple viewings. In Baby Driver, a talented, young getaway driver (Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Two-time Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.
The Baby Driver cast also includes Jon Bernthal. You can the film on the big screen starting this Wednesday, June 28.
