Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are Back in the Daddy’s Home 2 Trailer

The Daddy’s Home 2 trailer has arrived and, with it, a look at the upcoming Paramount Pictures comedy sequel. Will Ferrell and his two-time co-star Mark Wahlberg (The Other Guys) reunite as Brad and Dusty in Daddy’s Home 2, and are joined by John Lithgow and Mel Gibson as their characters’ respective fathers.

In the sequel to the 2015 global smash, father and stepfather, Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) and Brad (Will Ferrell) have joined forces to provide their kids with the perfect Christmas. Their newfound partnership is put to the test when Dusty’s old-school, macho Dad (Mel Gibson) and Brad’s ultra-affectionate and emotional Dad (John Lithgow) arrive just in time to throw the holiday into complete chaos.

Released toward the end of 2015, the original Daddy’s Home became one of Will Ferrell’s biggest global hits ever with over $242 million worldwide and $150 million domestic. It follows a mild-mannered radio executive, Brad (Ferrell), who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father, Dusty (Wahlberg), arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.

Sean Anders and John Morris have returned to pen Daddy’s Home 2 with Anders again directing. The original film also starred Linda Cardellini, Thomas Haden Church, Hannibal Buress and John Cena.

Daddy’s Home 2 will hit theaters on November 10, 2017.
