Spider-Man Webs Up a Criminal in New Set Videos

Production continues on Spider-Man: Homecoming in Atlanta, Georgia and two new videos from the set (via CBM) feature Tom Holland’s webslinger… well, slinging some webs, which will be added in post-production. Check them out in the players below!

Tom Holland reprises the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man he first played in Captain America: Civil War, and is joined by Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Michael Keaton as a mystery villain (believed to be the Vulture), Logan Marshall-Green as a secondary villain, Kenneth Choi as Peter’s high school Principal, and Zendaya as a character by the name of Michelle. There’s also mystery roles for Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, and Angourie Rice.

“It really is a homecoming,” Tom Holland told the CinemaCon crowd during the film’s title announcement earlier this year, “because, throughout the movie, Peter is trying to find out who he is and where he belongs in this world.”

Scripted by Vacation writers and directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, Spider-Man: Homecoming will, according to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, feature characters from throughout the MCU. Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming will open in regular theaters and IMAX on July 7, 2017.
