Wade and Vanessa exchange questions in first Deadpool clip
Following the TV spots released last night, 20th Century Fox has debuted the first Deadpool clip and in it, Wade has a very important question for Vanessa. Check it out in the player below, but you should know that this clip certainly reflects the film’s R rating.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Ryan Reynolds stars as the title character alongside T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle/Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax. The film will also feature the mutant Colossus, voiced by Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic.
Tim Miller is directing the movie from a script by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Deadpool will open in theaters on February 12.
