Paramount has released the first teaser trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues or Anchorman 2 as most everyone will surely refer to it.
Not a lot is known about the film at this time, though it’s been assumed from interviews with members of the cast and director Adam McKay, the film will see Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and his team of anchors — Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Champ Kind (David Koechner), Brick Tamland (Steve Carrell) and, of course, Miss Corningstone (Christina Applegate — head off to New York City and get involved in the 24 hour news cycle in their own way.
The other big story revolving around the film includes the number of celebrity cameos, which so far would seem to include Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Sacha Baron Cohen, John C. Reilly, Liam Neeson, Jim Carrey, Kirsten Dunst, Harrison Ford, James Marsden and a minotaur. Some of those cameos may end up cut out of the final film, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
