Tim Burton’s ‘Frankenweenie’ Teaser Trailer

Disney has sure kept me busy as of late with John Carter talk and Avengers knick-knacks and now we continue down that path with more from Tim Burton’s upcoming stop-motion animation feature Frankenweenie, a film that should be fun for moviegoers when they go to buy a ticket, “Yeah, one adult and two kids for Frankenweenie.” Seriously, it sounds like something a dirty old man would be into.

Nevertheless, it’s not some kind of necrophilia porn, it’s a 3-D, black-and-white feature centering on Young Victor (voiced by Charlie Tahan) who works away in his attic lab, attempting to bring his beloved dog Sparky, a playful and curious bull terrier, back to life with lessons he learned about electricity from his science teacher Mr. Rzykruski (voiced by Martin Landau). The voice cast also includes Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara and Conchata Ferrell.

Frankenweenie hits theaters on October 5, check out the first trailer directly below.
