The movie version of Dan Brown’s best selling book is set for release on May 19, 2006 and before even a single frame of the film has been shot he have an official site, a teaser poster and a teaser trailer.
Dan Brown’s “The Da Vinci Code” has captured readers’ attention for over 2 years now and Columbia Pictures is bringing the story to the big screen with Ron Howard directing and quite the cast including Tom Hanks, Jean Reno, Audrey Tautou, Alfred Molina and Ian McKellen.
The story begins with a murder in the Louvre and clues in Da Vinci paintings leading to the discovery of a religious mystery protected by a secret society for two thousand years — which could shake the foundations of Christianity.
