Following 2014 hits like Ride Along, About Last Night, and Think Like a Man Too, Kevin Hart is back on the big screen with this week’s The Wedding Ringer, starring opposite Josh Gad, the creative multi-hyphenate best known for his Tony-nominated performance in “The Book of Mormon” and for lending his voice to Walt Disney Animation’s massive hit, Frozen.
In The Wedding Ringer, Gad plays Doug Harris, a loveable but socially awkward groom-to-be with a problem: he has no best man. With less than two weeks to go until he marries the girl of his dreams (Cuoco-Sweeting), Doug is referred to Jimmy Callahan (Hart), owner and CEO of Best Man, Inc., a company that provides flattering best men for socially challenged guys in need. What ensues is a hilarious wedding charade as they try to pull off the big con, and an unexpected budding bromance between Doug and his fake best man Jimmy.
In an exclusive interview with ComingSoon.net, Gad, Hart and Cuoco-Sweeting chat with Alicia Malone about working together as a team to maximize the film’s potential and why weddings make for such fertile comedy ground. Check it out in the player below and catch The Wedding Ringer in theaters January 16.
