The legendary Dario Argento (Suspiria, Opera) returns next month with IFC Midnight’s Argento’s Dracula 3D. Today, iTunes Movie Trailers has debuted the trailer and you can check it out in the player below!
Starring Thomas Kretschmann, Asia Argento, Marta Castini, Rutger Hauer, Unax Ugaide, Miriam Giovanelli, Maria Christina Heller, Giovanni Franzoni, Augusto Zucchi, Francesco Rossini, Giuseppe Lo Console, Christian Burruano, Franco Ravera and Riccardo Cicogna, Argento’s Dracula 3D offers a bloody, luridly creepy 3D version of the classic vampire tale, drenched in gore and sex. An unsuspecting Englishman arrives in Transylvania, lured by a job with a local nobleman. But the undead Count Dracula’s real target is the man’s innocent young wife. Featuring the iconic Rutger Hauer as vampire hunter Van Helsing and the inimitable Asia Argento (Dario’s own daughter) as a local all-too-eager to fall under the Count’s sway.
Featuring a script by Dario Argento, Antonio Tentori, Stefano Piani and Enrique Cerezo, Argento’s Dracula 3D hits theaters in New York and Los Angeles October 4.
