20th Century Fox Plans Mind MGMT

Matt Kindt’s comic book series Mind MGMT is headed to the big screen through Twentieth Century Fox, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. Ridley Scott is joining Mike Richardson and Kieth Goldber to produce.

First published in May of 2012, Mind MGMT is written and illustrated by Kindt and planned for a 36-issue run. It is officially described as follows:

Reporting on a commercial flight where everyone aboard lost their memories, a young journalist stumbles onto a much bigger story, the top-secret Mind Management program. Her ensuing journey involves weaponized psychics, hypnotic advertising, talking dolphins, and seemingly immortal pursuers, as she attempts to find the flight’s missing passenger, the man who was Mind MGMT’s greatest success—and its most devastating failure. But in a world where people can rewrite reality itself, can she trust anything she sees?

Another one of Kindt’s books, 3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man is in development at Warner Bros. with Dustin Lance Black attached to write and direct.
