Although Gary Oldman signed on for the project earlier this year, scheduling conflicts have caused him to drop out of Albert Hughes’ Motor City. Today, Variety reports that the production has found a replacement star in Adrien Brody.
Brody, who last appeared in Midnight in Paris, will portray a criminal kingpin opposite Gerard Butler, who is playing an ex-convict tracking down those that framed him to get revenge.
Motor City is set to begin production next month in Atlanta.
