Eisenberg & Fanning Up for the Eco-Thriller Night Moves

Indie filmmaker Kelly Reichardt has been making movies for roughly 18 years but she only started getting attention in the last four years with a pair of movies starring Michelle Williams, Wendy & Lucy and Meek’s Cutoff. Those films proved successful enough that she has continued that path of working with better-known actors and she is putting together an interesting trio of actors for her eco-terrorist thriller Night Moves as Variety reports she’s in talks with Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning and Peter Sarsgaard to play three eco-terrorists who plan to blow up a dam.

Originally, Paul Dano was attached to play the role that Eisenberg is now in talks to play, the ringleader of the group, while Sarsgaard is already set to play the mastermind behind the bomb and Fanning will play a rich girl who funds their plan.

The production, produced by Neil Kopp, Anish Savjani and executive producer Todd Haynes, is expected to start filming in Portland in October.
