Carlton Cuse has signed on to draft New Line Cinema’s San Andreas: 3D, Variety reports.
First announced late last year, the project — which deals with a massive earthquake hitting California — was written by Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore with Allan Loeb having already performed rewrites.
Cuse, best known as a writer and executive producer on “Lost,” is also one of the creators of “The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.” and the creator of “Nash Bridges.”
Brad Peyton (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) was recently said to be in talks to direct San Andreas: 3D, but his involvement has not yet been officially confirmed.
