Ivan Reitman Plans Draft Day

Ivan Reitman appears to have found his next project in the form of Draft Day. Deadline reports that the Ghostbusters director will helm the football comedy, written by Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman for Paramount Pictures.

Draft Day is said to center around the NFL’s draft and sees the general manager of the Buffalo Bills going to any length to secure his top pick.

Joseph and Rothman are relative newcomers to Hollywood. The former has written two episodes of “Nurse Jackie” while the latter has a number of scripts in various stages of development.

Reitman, who will also produce through The Montecito Picture Company, last directed 2011’s No Strings Attached, also for Paramount.
