2018 Movie Photos: Avengers, Jurassic World, X-Men, Aquaman and Many More!

We’ve already seen 2018 movie photos from Entertainment Weekly and Total Film, and now the last few days Empire magazine and USA Today have published more. We’ve gathered all the new 2018 movie photos in the gallery below (some films have multiple new photos) and you can view them by release date (we’ve included some scans, as Empire did not post all the X-Men: Dark Phoenix photos online). STXfilms’ action film Den of Thieves, with Gerard Butler, Pablo Schreiber, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Brian Van Holt, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, debuts in theaters on January 19.

Helen Mirren and Jason Clarke star in the spooky Winchester (Lionsgate/CBS Films), coming to theaters on February 2.

Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit (Sony Pictures Animation) comes to theaters on February 9 and is voiced by James Corden, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Sam Neill, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki, and Margot Robbie.

Universal’s Fifty Shades Freed, in theaters on February 9, is the third chapter based on the worldwide bestselling “Fifty Shades” phenomenon. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, in theaters on February 16, stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

Jennifer Lawrence reunites with her Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence for the action thriller Red Sparrow (20th Century Fox), opening on March 2.

The masked killers are back in The Strangers: Prey at Night (Aviron), opening on March 9. Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson, Bailee Madison, and Lewis Pullman star.

Director Ava DuVernay brings A Wrinkle in Time (Disney) to the big screen on March 9. The film stars Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, Storm Reid, Gugu Mbatha Raw, Chris Pine, and many more.

Opening on March 23, Legendary and Universal’s Pacific Rim Uprising is a follow-up to the 2013 film and stars John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Jing Tian, Cailee Spaeny, Rinko Kikuchi, Burn Gorman, Adria Arjona, and Charlie Day.

The Steven Spielberg-directed Ready Player One (Warner Bros.), starring Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, T.J. Miller, Simon Pegg, and Mark Rylance, is in theaters on March 30.

The Universal comedy Blockers, starring Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz, and John Cena, debuts in theaters on April 6.

The X-Men franchise takes a turn to horror in 20th Century Fox’s The New Mutants, opening April 13 and starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Blu Hunt, Henry Zaga, and Alice Braga.

Opening in theaters on May 4, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Universal’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the anticipated follow-up to the 2015 blockbuster. Opening on June 22, the film again stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. They are joined by James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, while BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles.

The Bradley Cooper-directed A Star is Born (Warner Bros.), starring Cooper and Lady Gaga, arrives in theaters on October 5.

Simon Kinberg writes and directs 20th Century Fox’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix, opening on November 2 and starring Sophie Turner, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Jessica Chastain, Alison Blaire, Lamar Johnson, and Evan Peters.

Coming to theaters on November 16, Warner Bros.’ Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the second of five all-new adventures in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp star.

Warner Bros.’ Aquaman, directed by James Wan and starring Jason Momoa, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Ludi Lin, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, Amber Heard, and Nicole Kidman, opens in theaters on December 21.

Directed by Travis Knight, Paramount’s Bumblebee also opens on December 21. The Transformers spin-off and prequel to the first film stars Hailee Steinfeld.

Mary Poppins is back in theaters in Mary Poppins Returns, debuting in theaters on December 25. The film stars mily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, Dick Van Dyke, Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh, Joel Dawson, and Angela Lansbury.
