Atlas Entertainment has made a pre-emptive pitch sale to New Line Cinema and is currently developing a script based on the life of Chris Paciello, the nightclub impresario.
Emmy-winning writer, Adam Mazer (HBO’s “You Don’t Know Jack”) has been tapped to write the original screenplay based on the true story of Paciello, the charismatic nightclub owner, who in the 1990s became the “King of Miami” and turned South Beach into “the hottest party destination in the world.”
Charles Roven, William Green, Richard Suckle will produce for Atlas. The company’s Andy Horwitz will co-produce. New Line Cinema’s studio executives Richard Brener and Walter Hamada will oversee production for the company.
