Chris Pine (Star Trek, This Means War) is set to star in the upcoming comedy Mantivities, Deadline reports. What’s more, Pine co-wrote the screenplay for the project alongside Robert Baker, Ian Gotler, Will Greenberg, Drew Howerton and Tony Liebetrau.
The plot is said to concern a group of 30-somethings who band together to help one of their number move into maturity.
Michael Patrick Jann (Drop Dead Gorgeous) will direct for Waterstone Entertainment with Pine himself, Sarah Babineau, Stephen Bowen, Steven Garcia, Jordan Foley and Jeff Kalligheri producing.
