With production wrapped for the upcoming film, the first photo from the action drama The Bombing has arrived online. Featuring Bruce Willis (The Sixth Sense, Die Hard, The Fifth Element), you can check out the full photo in the gallery below!
Based on the incredible true story during World War II, five different Chinese people fight their way through Japanese Air Force attacks to protect an important military machine in Chongqing, 1940. The film is the sophomore feature for director Xiao Feng (Hushed Roar) and is currently in post-production.
Willis is joined in the upcoming film by Bingbing Fan (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and Nicholas Tse (The Stool Pigeon, Bodyguards and Assassins). Filmmaker Mel Gibson is also working on the film as both a creative supervising producer and the film’s art director.
The Bombing was written by Ping Chen and produced by Yang Butang and Jimmy Jiang.
