Yesterday, it was reported that Michael Douglas may be playing the lead in Jon Turtletaub’s ensemble comedy Last Vegas for CBS Films, and now Vulture reports that Robert De Niro is in negotiations to play one of Douglas’ bachelor party-attending buddies.
Their story also confirms Douglas’ recent statements that Christopher Walken may join them as the third of four long-time buddies who gather in Vegas for a bachelor party blow-out, although the stories haven’t mentioned which of the characters either of them might play.
If those three negotiations go through, that would leave just one more septuagenarian male role to be cast for the movie, that of African-American Air Force vet Archibald Clay… oh, Morgan Freeman? Are you busy in August?
