Kitsch, Decker and Skarsgard in a New Battleship Clip

Director Peter Berg’s Battleship won’t be opening in theaters until May 18 in North America, but overseas the adaptation of Hasbro’s classic naval combat game has already earned over $58 million. Today, Universal Pictures has released this new clip from early in the film featuring Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker and Alexander Skarsgard.

The film is an epic action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Battleship stars Kitsch as Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Decker as Sam, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancée; and Skarsgard as Hopper’s older brother, Commanding Officer Stone of the USS Samson.
