American Woman is being produced by Killer Films with Semi Chellas (Mad Men producer) writing and directing.

Hong Chau is known for her work on the HBO series Treme and she played Jade in Inherent Vice for Paul Thomas Anderson. She’ll be seen next in the upcoming film Downsizing, starring Matt Damon and Kristen Wiig and directed by Alexander Payne.

The cast also includes Christoph Waltz (Django UnchainedInglorious Basterds), Hong Chau (Inherent ViceTreme), and Jason Sudeikis (We’re the MillersSaturday Night Live).
