Alexander Skarsgard has landed the lead in Warner Bros.’ upcoming thriller, Hidden, Variety reports.
The project, from writer/directors Matt and Ross Duffer, landed on the 2011 “Black List” of unproduced screenplays and was, at the time, officially described as being, “An elevated horror-thriller about a family hiding in a bomb shelter after escaping a mysterious outbreak.”
Skarsgard, best known for HBO’s “True Blood,” starred last year in both Straw Dogs and Melancholia. He can next be seen on the big screen in Peter Berg’s Battleship.
