Simon Quarterman has signed on to lead Wer, the upcoming horror project from The Devil Inside director William Brent Bell. Deadline has the news, listing Quarterman as the lead, Gavin Flemyng.
Quarterman, who also appeared in Devil Inside, will star opposite A.J. Cook, playing a character named Kate Moore.
Wer (the German word for “who”), is said to focus on werewolves and will again make use of a “found footage” style.
Bell co-penned the script with his Devil cohort Matthew Peterman and shooting begins in Romania this April.
