Julianne Moore in Talks for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Directorial Debut

Julianne Moore is in negotiations to star in Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s feature writing and directing debut. Variety reports that Moore would star opposite Gordon-Levitt and the previously attached Scarlett Johansson.

The film, still untitled, will tell the tale of a present-day Don Juan and his quest to become a better person.

Moore most recently portrayed Sarah Palin in the Jay Roach television movie Game Change and appeared on the big screen in Being Flynn. She’s currently shooting the Warner Bros. fantasy Seventh Son, set for release on February 15, 2013.
