Edgar Ramirez Heads to Corpus Christi

Richard Kelly has enlisted Edgar Ramirez for his next, Corpus Christi, Variety reports.

The film, set in the very near future, has Ramirez playing an Iraqi veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Kelly, still best known for his debut feature, Donnie Darko, has also written and directed such films as Southland Tales and The Box. He also supplied the screenplay for Corpus Christi and has found a producer in filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and his Quick Draw Productions.

Ramirez is best known for his leading role in Olivier Assayas’ miniseries, “Carlos,” and can soon be seen on the big screen in Wrath of the Titans.
