Rose Byrne and Anna Faris have signed on for a romantic comedy called I Give It a Year, Variety reports. The project will be both written and directed by Dan Mazer, the screenwriter of Borat, Bruno and the upcoming The Dictator (in which Faris also stars).
The actresses join Simon Baker and Rafe Spall in the tale of a couple (Byrne and Spall) trying to make it through their first year of marriage.
Faris recently appeared in Take Me Home Tonight and What’s Your Number and provided a voice for Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. Byrne, meanwhile, starred in Bridesmaids and in X-Men: First Class.
