Brad Peyton, the man behind the upcoming 3D sequel, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, has landed his next job directing and producing a project called Invasion. Variety has the news, saying that J. Daniel Shaffer will provide the screenplay.
Likened to Cloverfield, Invasion is said to deal with a group of Philadelphia-based students who have to become soldiers against a supernatural enemy.
Andrew Adamson (Shrek, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe) is also attached as producer.
