Christina Hendricks Joining Sally Potter’s Bomb ?

Director Sally Potter has established herself as a respected auteur with sporadic films like Orlando and Yes, and she’s already planning to shoot her next movie Bomb in London this coming February with Elle Fanning and Alice Englart playing teen girls who get involved in the Ban the Bomb movement and London’s sexual revolution.

According to the Daily Mail‘s Baz Bamigboye, they’ll be joined in the swinging ’60s period piece by “Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks and Alessandro Nivola with Annette Bening also considering a part.

There’s no word on which roles any of them might play, although the film is already a lot higher profile than some of Potter’s last few films, partially due to the subject matter, but casting an actress who has already established herself as a ’60s siren should get the movie more attention.
