There is indeed a future in horror for Paranormal Activity 2 director Todd “Kip” Williams.
Deadline reports he’ll write and direct an adaptation of “Those Across the River,” a novel by Christopher Buehlman.
The book was published in September and Mike Medavoy picked up the film rights; he’ll produce alongside Akiva Goldsman. Here’s a description of the story.
Failed academic Frank Nichols and his wife, Eudora, have arrived in the sleepy Georgia town of Whitbrow, where Frank hopes to write a history of his family’s old estate-the Savoyard Plantation- and the horrors that occurred there.
