First announced last summer, the amibitious project Life in a Day is now available to watch for free online (via YouTube) in the player below.
A collaboration between director Kevin Macdonald, producer Ridley Scott and thousands of volunteer individuals, Life in a Day had contributers send in video of their daily routine, all shot on July 24, 2010. The final film was pulled together from from 4,500 hours of footage sent in from 192 countries.
With two live-streams this past January, the film enjoyed a brief theatrical run and is now permanently available on YouTube with subtitles in 25 different languages. Click below to watch the entire film.
