Kristen Stewart Says Breaking Dawn Was Originally Rated R

Talking to Glamour magazine, Kristen Stewart revealed that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 was originally rated R because of the sex scene she filmed with Robert Pattinson.

“It was so weird, it didn’t even feel like we were doing a Twilight film. I was like, ‘Bella! What are you doing? Wow! What is happening here?!” she said, adding, “It was very surreal. We [originally] got rated R. They re-cut it.”

The movie, hitting theaters on November 18, is now rated PG-13 for disturbing images, violence, sexuality/partial nudity and some thematic elements.

Who knows, maybe “Twilight” fans will get to see the uncut scene on the Blu-ray and DVD.

The movie is based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series and was directed by Bill Condon from a script by Melissa Rosenberg.
