A rapid follow-up from his recent hit, Contagion, Steven Soderbergh is set to release Haywire early next year. The official poster for the action film has just come online and is viewable below.
Mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Gina Carano (“American Gladiators”) makes her feature film debut in the January 20 release, starring and performing her own high-adrenaline stunts. The film’s cast also includes Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton, Michael Douglas and Michael Angarano.
The film tells an electrifying tale of espionage and betrayal, a female covert ops specialist (Carano), who works in the deadly world of international operatives, strikes back after discovering she’s been double-crossed by someone close to her in the agency.
