Dominic Purcell is the latest name to join the cast of Paradise Lost, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
The Alex Proyas film is an adaptation of John Milton’s 17th-century English poem about the epic war in heaven between archangels Michael (Benjamin Walker) and Lucifer (Bradley Cooper), and will be developed as an action vehicle that will include aerial warfare, possibly shot in 3D.
Purcell, who recently appeared in The Killer Elite and Straw Dogs, will play Moloch, a former angel who, after falling, sides with Lucifer in the battle against heaven. He’ll join a diverse cast that already also includes Djimon Hounsou, Casey Affleck, Camilla Belle, Callan McAuliffe and Diego Boneta.
