Vision Confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War

Though production on Avengers: Infinity War is primarily taking place at Pinewood Atlanta, the film has briefly set up shop in Edinburgh, Scotland where a set photo confirms yet another hero set to appear in the film, Paul Bettany’s Vision. You can check out the photo of Vision on set over at the Marvel Studios subreddit by clicking here.

Given Vision was brought to life using the Mind Stone, it’s likely he’ll be at the center of a battle with the mad titan, Thanos, as he tries to collect all of the Infinity Stones to assemble the Infinity Gauntlet.

Filming officially started on Monday, January 23, 2017 for the Avengers sequel, which sees Earth’s Mightiest Heroes teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to take on Josh Brolin’s Thanos.

Directors Anthony and Joe Russo, who return after Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, are directing both Avengers: Infinity War and the untitled fourth film, which are filming back-to-back in Atlanta and are written by screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Both films will also be shot entirely with IMAX cameras. Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War is slated for a release in theaters on May 4, 2018, with its follow-up set to open on May 3, 2019.
