MTV got a chance to talk to Owen Wilson for his new movie The Big Year when talk turned to Zoolander 2, in which he is returning as Hansel.
“Hansel, he’s fallen on hard times. There’s been a slight… disfiguring injury,” he said about the character. “Think ‘Vanilla Sky.'” You can watch Wilson say the quotes below.
Written and directed by Ben Stiller, the original 2001 film about a dimwitted male super-model turned wannabe spy (also Stiller) earned $60.8 million worldwide. It co-starred Christine Taylor, Will Ferrell and Milla Jovovich.
The sequel is said to be set 10 years later when Derek and Hansel are literally forgotten. Nobody even knows who they are, so they have to re-invent themselves.
