Margot Robbie had a busy 2016, starring on the big screen in Glenn Ficarra and John Requa’s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, David Yates’ The Legend of Tarzan and in David Ayer‘s DC Comics ensemble Suicide Squad. She’s set to reprise the Harley Quinn role in Ayer’s upcoming Gotham City Sirens. Meanwhile, the actress is set to star opposite Sebastian Stan in the Tonya Harding biopic I, Tonya and to appear in Sony’s Beatrix Potter adaption, Peter Rabbit.

Marian is not the only Robin Hood movie on the way to the big screen. Production is now underway on Lionsgate‘s Robin Hood, starring Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle) as the title hero, with Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained, Ray) as Little John, Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey) as Will Scarlet, Eve Hewson (Bridge of Spies) as Maid Marion, Tim Minchin (Californication) as Friar Tuck, and Paul Anderson (Peaky Blinders, The Revenant) in an undisclosed role.
