Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, best known for playing Jaime Lannister on “Game of Thrones,” is set to star opposite Jessica Chastain in the supernatural thriller, Mama, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
Produced by Guillermo del Toro, the film is a feature-length version of a short Spanish film by Andres Muschietti which told the story of a pair of girls trying to escape from what they think could be the ghost of their dead mother.
Coster-Waldau and Chastain will play a couple who take in their formerly-lost nieces and nephews after the children are found living in the woods on their own.
In addition to “Game of Thrones,” Coster-Waldau has made appearances in Kingdom of Heaven, Firewall and Black Hawk Down, among others.
