Alexandra Daddario has joined the cast of the upcoming The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, Variety reports.
Daddario, best known for her leading role as Annabeth Chase in Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and for a supporting role in the recently-released Hall Pass, will play the leading role in the 3D sequel which, if this recently rumored plot synopsis is accurate, is that of a woman named Heather.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D will be directed by John Luessenhop (Takers) and will continue the story from Tobe Hooper’s 1973 original, picking up the character of Leatherface decades later.
