24 Frames reports that Simon Kinberg (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Sherlock Holmes) will do a polish of the script for Ouija, the adaptation of the Hasbro property at Universal Pictures and Platinum Dunes.
A previous version of the script was written by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. McG is attached to direct the film, scheduled for a November 9, 2012 release. Release Date: November 9, 2012.
The board game has been produced by Hasbro’s Parker Brothers since 1966, with millions being sold worldwide.
McG and Kinberg worked together on the director’s upcoming This Means War, starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
