Sacha Baron Cohen was spotted filming Paramount’s The Dictator in New York and we’ve got photos from the shoot. Directed by Larry Charles, the comedy co-stars Anna Faris, Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer, David Mandel and Ben Kingsley.
The May 11, 2012 release tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the novel “Zabibah and the King” that was purportedly written by Saddam Hussein.
