Deadline reports that Paramount Pictures has acquired the film rights for DC Comics’ The Mighty, which was created by Peter J. Tomasi and Keith Champagne.
In the comics, Lt. Gabriel Cole has worked his way up the ranks of Section Omega, with a connection to super hero Alpha One that reaches back to his own childhood tragedy. But when Alpha One reveals a sinister secret, Cole must stop this renegade from destroying life on Earth.
The site says that Mary Parent’s Paramount-based Disruption will produce with Benderspink.
