The Hollywood Reporter says that Scott Frank (Minority Report, Out of Sight, Marley & Me) is in talks to write the screenplay for Houdini, Columbia Pictures’ project about the famous escape artist and magician.
Francis Lawrence is attached to direct while Jimmy Miller is producing via his Mosaic Media.
The film “sees Houdini striving to expose a troubled, beautiful spiritualist as a fraud.”
