Justin Zackham, the writer of The Bucket List, has lined up a cast for his next project. Variety reports that Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Diane Keaton and Amanda Seyfried have signed on for Gently Down the Stream, which Zackham will both write and direct.
To be produced by Two Ton Films and Millennium Films, Gently Down the Stream is said to feature De Niro and Keaton as a now-divorced couple who have to pretend that they’re still married for their son’s wedding.
The film will mark Zackham’s sophomore effort as a director, following the ultra-low-budget indie Going Greek in 2001.
