Mark Wahlberg and Justin Bieber are joining forces for a drama currently being developed at Paramount, Vulture reports. In an interview with the star, Wahlberg dropped a few details about the project, currently in the very early stages.
“[It’s] kind of like a reluctant mentor in an inner-city environment,” said Wahlberg.
Though he was hesitant to go into more details, the actor did add that he has been working on the idea alongside Bieber and that, despite both their careers beginning in the music industry, neither would be singing in the film itself.
Wahlberg recently starred in and produced The Fighter. Bieber’s own film, Never Say Never, was released earlier this year and has grossed nearly $100 million worldwide.
