Steve Carell and Keira Knightley are in talks to star in Mandate and Indian Paintbrush’s romantic comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, to mark the the directorial debut of Lorene Scafaria.
The Hollywood Reporter says “the film follows a search by one man (Carell) for a meaningful connection amid the end times.”
The movie is scheduled to start shooting in Los Angeles in May.
