Entertainment Weekly has your first look at images from the new six-minute “Toy Story” short that will play in theaters in front of Cars 2 on June 24th. In the short, titled “Hawaiian Vacation,” Barbie and Ken mess up plans to take a trip, so their toy friends re-create a romantic getaway at home.
“Woody becomes kind of like what’s-his-name on Love Boat… Captain Stubing!” says director Gary Rydstrom (Pixar’s “Lifted”). “As toys who get played with all the time, they have a pretty good imagination. When it’s time for a little playacting, they’re good at it.”
