Kevin Costner, who most recently appeared in The Company Men, is rumored today (via Deadline) to be up for a part in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot.
The potential role is unknown at this stage though some age-appropriate speculation could place Costner as Perry White, Jonathan Kent or General Sam Lane (Lois’ father), among others.
Still best known for his work in the late 80’s and early 90’s on films like Bull Durham, Field of Dreams and Dances With Wolves, Costner has managed science fiction roles before in Waterworld and The Postman. This would mark his first comic book adaptation.
