Richard Jenkins has joined the cast of Cogan’s Trade, Variety reports.
The film is headlined by Brad Pitt in the role of Jackie Cogan, a hit man’s point person who becomes involved in the investigation of a heist against the mob that takes place during a high-stakes poker game. Jenkin’s part is said to be that of a lawyer collecting information on the game.
Based on the novel by George V. Higgins, the film arrives from The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford director Andrew Dominik and is also set to star James Gandolfini, Bella Heathcote and Sam Rockwell.
Jenkins previously worked with Pitt in the Coen Brother’s Burn After Reading and was nominated for an Oscar for his performance in The Visitor.
